Sales Executive

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and high-performing Sales Executive who bears the following skills and qualities, to join us in growing an independent travel, wellness and lifestyle brand: 

(i) sourcing, maintaining and generating new leads for the Company with respect to travel, wellness and lifestyle experiences, product and event sales, including the nurturing and maintenance of client relationships;

(ii) dealing end-to-end with enquiries from previous, existing or prospective clients or correspondence with existing or prospective partners of the Company (whether guides, travel operators, trekking operators, hoteliers, cruise liners, airlines, brands etc.), governmental authorities, associations, etc, including the design of itinerary decks and proposals;

(iii) providing sales coordination and administrative support to the team in any respect, including deck building for journeys, building of cheat sheets and other trip-related collaterals for journeys, invoice raising and breakdown, keeping track of payments and signing of booking documentation, researching rates for hotels, flights and activities, preparation of care packages and arranging for timely send out to clients or suppliers before a journey;

(iv) assisting in tracking deal status, sales targets, commissions and maintaining any CRM database systems and preparing reports on the same;

(v) scouting and business development – in particular, the company’s expansion into other destinations or product lines, tie-ups with other like-minded brands and businesses or associations and/or development of new brand concepts/product lines;

(vi) keeping abreast of any developments with respect to our product offering which may have an impact on the business and conducting thorough travel and business-related research, whether of the industry or our destinations in general or of our competitors and analysing any research findings and preparing reports on the same;

(vii) providing end-to-end support to stakeholders in the sales team, sales support team and other stakeholders (whether in-house or freelance) on daily basis;

(viii) assisting in the expansion of destinations and product offerings by reaching out to suppliers, gathering product knowledge and creating implementation plans; and

(ix) such other assignments and tasks as may be assigned to you during the course of the employment.


(i) previous sales experience in travel, wellness and lifestyle industry is preferred;

(ii) strong intrapersonal skills;

(iii) have excellent writing and language skills;

(iv) have a keen eye for details and be extremely thorough;

(v) having working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, Excel and CRM tools such as Hubspot is preferred;

(vi) be an efficient project manager who can handle multiple projects simultaneously and work with tight timelines;

(vii) be self-motivated, resourceful and comfortable working in a cross-functional environment;

(viii) have a flexible, dependable and responsive attitude; and

(applicants with basic website knowledge and interest is an added advantage.
