Hop on an off-the-beaten ride through the spectacular landscapes of the lunar Negev, followed by a picnic lunch overlooking the Ramon Crater. Admire the tireless ingenuity that has made great swathes of the bone-dry desert bloom. Taste wines produced here for thousands of years and admire the olive groves of a thriving agricultural kibbutz.

Day 1 (22 Oct 2022)
Arrival in Tel Aviv / Jerusalem

Arriving in Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport, you will be transferred as a group to Jerusalem. One of the oldest cities in the world, Jerusalem sits at the spiritual intersection where Judaism, Christianity and Islam share their faith. Today is free at leisure for you to rest or explore at your own pace.

Day 2 (23 Oct 2022)

Start your day with a bird’s eye view of the Old City from the Mount of Olives. Thereafter, you will follow the footsteps of Jesus. After witnessing the outpouring of emotions at the Wailing Wall, you will continue into highlights such as the Dome of the Rock, the Way of the Cross and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Continue to Mount Zion where you will visit the Tomb of King David, the Room of the Last Supper and the Church of the Dormition.

Following a food tour at Mahinim Yehuda Market, we descend into the secret world of the Kotel Tunnel. This evening, immerse into the Shabbat meal tradition with a Jewish family and learn how they welcome the holiest day of the week.

Day 3 (24 Oct 2022)

Have you ever wondered how cuisine in the Biblical times must have tasted like? Nearly forgotten for centuries, you will have the unique opportunity to gain insights into this lost art as you head out with Chef Moshe Basson in hunt of Biblical herbs, spices and fresh produces for your dinner tonight!

After a heart-stirring visit to the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial, you will sit down for lunch with a Holocaust survivor. The number of Holocaust survivors living among us is reducing every day. These brave survivors will share their breath-taking story on how they start a new life following one of the biggest tragedies in human history.

In the afternoon, head outdoor for a unique opportunity to be an archaeologist for a day. You will work alongside professionals to excavate, sift, examine and unearth the past in the UNESCO-listed Beit Guvrin National Park. For dinner, let us treat your taste bud with modern interpretation of Biblical dishes by Chef Moshe Basson.

Day 4 (25 Oct 2022)
Jerusalem / Bethlehem / Dead Sea / Negev Desert

Let us whisk you to the birthplace of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem, where you will visit the Church of Nativity, the Milk Grotto Chapel, King Cinema and Well.

Afterwards, enjoy a cable car ride to the top of the Masada Fortress. This archaeological site is inscribed into the UNESCO World Heritage Site list for its important place in the history. It also boasts fantastic view of the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea. Finally, we descend into the Dead Sea where you will get an opportunity to float and cover yourself with therapeutic mud before transferring to your accommodation.

Day 5 (26 Oct 2022)
Negev Desert

Discover the rare phenomenon of erosion basins at the gigantic Ramon Crater. Hop on a jeep ride through the otherworldly landscapes while learning about the local floras and faunas, concluding with a scenic picnic lunch overlooking the crater.

In the afternoon, breathe in the bursting desert aroma as you discover the miracle of the Israel’s desert winery. Unravel the secrets of wine-making against the challenges of arid desert condition.

Day 6 (27 Oct 2022)
Negev Desert / Tel Aviv

Get active with a 2km canyon trail hike along the Ein Avdat National Park. An oasis in the otherwise unhospitable area, it is home to ibexes, saltbushes and Euphrates poplar trees.

Thereafter, we will visit a kibbutz to learn how this intentional community grow a green agriculture wonderland in the hot desert. If they can grow an agriculture masterpiece here, you can surely learn how to grow your own food anywhere in the world!

Your trip continues to Tel Aviv, where you will visit the UNESCO-listed Bauhaus buildings at Rotschild Boulevard, the 8,000-year Old Jaffa, as well as the tree-lined district of Neve Tzedek.

Day 7 (28 Oct 2022)
Tel Aviv / Palestinian Territories / Tel Aviv

Visit the Florentine Neighbourhood for a rare glimpse into professions that have disappeared from the world. Many of these artisans are finding a place for their crafts amidst imported advance technologies.

Cross into the Palestinian territories. You will meet a Palestinian former undercover agent who had to undergo emergency rehabilitation after his identity was exposed by terrorist organizations. His story will keep you at the edge of your seat as he shows along the controversial Green Line which separates Israel and the West Bank.

Our next stop with be at Mount Gerizim. Brush shoulders with the unique minorities called the Samaritans, believed to be related by blood to the Israelites of ancient Sarmatia. In the evening, you will return to Tel Aviv to meet an IDF commander whom will get you acquainted with various geopolitical topics from his direct experiences serving in the Israeli army.

Day 8 (29 Oct 2022)
Tel Aviv / Caesarea / Haifa / Acre / Tel Aviv

Start your day with excursion into the port city of Caesarea with its ancient ruins from the Byzantine and Crusader periods. After a panoramic view of Haifa from the top of Mount Carmel, we will explore the splendid Bahai Gardens (UNESCO) and the Haifa Bay.

Another UNESCO site awaits you at the old city of Akko with its subterranean city and bazaars. This site has survived for centuries despite bearing the marks of several conquerors. You will also visit Daliat el Karmel for a tea with Druze family, a unique minority who are very secretive about their traditions. Tonight, let us treat you to a farewell dinner before your rest.
