A Danish Passage: Copenhagen, Sjælland and Funen

A whirlwind tour of Denmark’s Capital Region, this journey will take in the best of Copenhagen and surrounds, with numerous well-known attractions and plenty of personal connections with Danes along the way. Exploring Copenhagen’s historic core on foot, by boat and by bicycle, you’ll glimpse a few of its most charming quarters, fascinating museums and historic castles, having your fill at its fine selection of restaurants renowned for Nordic cuisine. Beyond the capital proper, you’ll sample a smattering of famous castles on the island of Sjælland, crossing Storebælt – the Great Belt Bridge – to reach Odense on Funen, where you’ll experience the magical world of the widely beloved teller of tales Hans Christian Andersen.

This journey outline is by no means fixed. As the traveller takes centre stage in our planning – from the type of lodging to daily activities – your journey will be crafted to suit you.
