Day by Day Highlights
Days 1-2 Granada
Drive South past Rio Frio’s surprising caviar farm and have a taste of its caviar, approved by Gordon Ramsay. If tasting is not enough, you may even get into the pool to catch your own sturgeon and learn how to make caviar. Your next two days are in Granada, the undisputed jewel of Southern Spain. View La Alhambra both by day and night, and explore the historic Albaicin neighbourhood and its hidden charms, many within the carmens, old manor houses with annexes, gardens and some with spectacular views of the city, the castle and the mountains.

Days 3-5 Sierra Nevada
Sierra Nevada is barely 100km from the Mediterranean Coast, but has a 6-month snow and ski season. How amazing! Because of the consistent snowfall and good quality ski experience, it has become one of the most popular ski resorts in Europe. There are more than 100km of ski trails, the longest being 6km, a freestyle park, children’s snow activities and world-class hotels. It is the perfect base to spend a few days in the mountains hitting the slopes and feeling the rush of the cold air.

Days 6-7 Mediterranean Coast
Ski in snow in the morning, and laze on the beach in beautiful warm sunshine in the afternoon – a possibility in only a few places in the world and Southern Spain is one of them! After you have finished with your winter wonderland escape in the Sierra Nevada, head just one hour South and you will hit the Mediterranean Coast: pick your choice of resort: Salobrena, Motril, Almunecar, or go directly back to Malaga or Marbella to enjoy the temperate city.
