Namibia: Highlights of the 'land of many faces'

Your 9D8N Namibian adventure sets off on a scenic flight from the vibrant capital, crossing the Naukluft Mountains to reach your charming lodge in the wilderness near the salt pan of Sossusvlei. Among the desert wonders to discover here are some of the planet’s highest towering dunes, the slot canyon of Sesriem and Deadvlei (“dead marsh”) – a vast, white clay pan in the shadow of the aptly-named dune of Big Daddy. Via the windswept coastal outpost of Swakopmund, fly onward to roam forbidding Damaraland, marvelling at the ancient inscriptions of Kunene’s Twylfelfontein. Time permitting, visit the Skeleton Coast and its desolate, shipwreck-strewn beaches, along with its majestic dunes and canyons, home to oryxes, hyenas, lions, elephants and giraffes. Touch down at last in Onguma Nature Reserve at the east end of Etosha, one of Africa’s largest game parks, where on drives through the bush you’ll look out for four of the famous Big Five, among them the elusive black rhino.

This journey outline is by no means fixed. As the traveller takes centre stage in our planning – from the type of lodging to daily activities – your journey will be crafted to suit you.
