A Norwegian Nomadic Journey

Our Norwegian journey launches from Oslo, where you’ll indulge in a delightful gastronomical tour, absorbing the capital’s highlights – from classical City Hall (of Nobel Peace Prize fame) to the new Opera House and the singular sculptures of Vigeland Park. Arriving by train in mountainous Myrdal, the breath-taking Flåm Railway experience awaits, snaking beneath snow-clad peaks and over gaping ravines. Gearing up at Flåm Harbour, you’ll then take to a pair of spectacular fjords from the water before taking to the scenic road to beautiful Bergen. With a flight to Tromsø in the far north you'll then be whisked to your journey's greatest adventures, among them dog sledding, ice-fishing, snow shoeing, cross-country skiing and deep-sea fishing. You’ll also have the chance to spot dolphins, sea eagles, and – not least – the magnificent Northern Lights.

This journey outline is by no means fixed. As the traveller takes centre stage in our planning – from the type of lodging to daily activities – your journey will be crafted to suit you.
